Welcome!

Oulu, Finland, and Odessa, Ukraine, have been sister cities (friendship towns) almost 40 years. As a translator of my hometown Oulu, I've got to know people from Odessa and became friends with Natasha and Lena.

My longterm friend from primary school Liisa got to know them too. Now as pensioners we had an opportunity to make a return visit to Odessa. We lived at the Natasha's place and got to know the ordinary family life and heard historical and present-day stories. Our Odessan friends were the specialist guides introducing the Odessa's sightseeings and culture.               Have Fun!
